Open Data Access Network Database Server Resource Adapter

The Network Database Server Resource Adapter for the Java Platform is a standards based Java interface into Network Database Server (formerly DMS) databases. Commonly referred to as DMS-RA, this tool opens your  Network Database Server data to standalone Java applications and Java EE  components such as Enterprise JavaBeans (EJBs) and servlets.

DMS-RA enables Java applications running on any server to access Network Database Server databases. This technology allows ClearPath clients to quickly implement new capabilities in a cost effective manner through the reuse of existing ClearPath database assets.  This also means that the ClearPath assets can participate in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based solutions.

DMS-RA is specifically optimized for use with Network Database Server databases by Java applications, run either in the OS 2200 environment or on other platforms.

DMS-RA is packaged with the Network Database Server (formerly DMS) product.
