Unisys Will Develop New Converging Media Solution for Telefónica Móviles of Spain“Agenda movistar,” designed to enable secure business operations, will assist users with greater efficiency and increased security through next-generation address booksBARCELONA, February 14, 2006 – Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced at the 3GSM World Congress conference that it is working with Telefónica Móviles España, the leading mobile network operator in Spain and part of the Telefónica Móviles Group, to develop "Agenda movistar," a new, high-value service for mobile phone users.
Mobile phones are moving beyond voice communications to become a main connection point to other devices – including other mobile devices, Internet, telephony and television. The new service to be offered by Telefónica Móviles and implemented by Unisys, will create a central repository for contact information, regardless of the source of that information, providing Telefónica Móviles’ customers with increased ease-of-use and interoperability.
Agenda movistar will help Telefónica Móviles España meet growing customer demand for converging media and realize key benefits of secure business operations: better performance in serving mobile customers, enhanced efficiency, improved security and greater competitive agility.
Based on open standards, Agenda movistar will also allow for integration with other Value Added Services (VAS), such as chats, games and instant text messages. This will enable customers to utilize their contact information across multiple services. It will also offer significantly increased storage space compared with previous contact repositories, and improved security for storage of all entries.

"They need more entries, more fields per entry, and overall they need to be more secure and have the ability to link to other value added services. Agenda movistar is a major leap to making them compatible, more secure and able to offer other value added services."
Agenda movistar is scheduled to be available in the second quarter of 2006, to all customers of Telefónica Móviles in Spain.
